A very special “Thanks” to Thomas Callens for sharing this information and these photos! Note the battle reenactment took place on the Glenn Proseus farm just outside the village limits on Lake Road.

Back in 1994 we celebrated the 200th anniversary of the founding of Sodus Point with a historic battle reenactment. We had over 350 British and 100 American troops in attendance. Also several wooden boats for the landing at South Ontario St. There was a very active community association and along with local government and businesses had a very successful celebration. Bill Huff took these excellent pictures.
