Sodus Bay Fishing Charters

 

If you live in  the Sodus  Bay area today, you know that a significant part of the local “lure” is the fishing.

Sodus Bay is roughly 3000 acres in size. The Bay has a maximum depth of just under 50 feet however most

of the bay is relatively shallow and is 20 feet or less in depth. Sodus Bay fisherman may encounter the

following species of fish northern pike, walleye, yellow perch, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass,  pumpkinseed,

bluegill, rock bass, crappie, white perch, carp,bullheads, and channel catfish. Recently the yellow perch fishing

in Sodus Bay has taken the  spotlight. Ice fishing is the bay is fantastic but the season can be short.  Anglers

fishing from a Sodus Bay charter boat may expect to encounter a wide  variety of fish species including brown

trout, rainbow trout, lake trout, coho salmon, chinook salmon, atlantic salmon. The fishing is good, whether you
