I never got to hear the Sodus Point fog horn. As you can see from the above article, it was dismantled in 1999.
My wife and I wanted to recreate what it would have sounded like to be looking at the Pier Light and have the fog horn going off. On December 6, 2015, we had a foggy morning and had our chance. I would also like to thank Cathy Contant, James Foster and Bill Huff for helping me with recreating the fog horn sound and making sure we have authentic timings.
