This is my great grandmother Nye DuBois, of Newark, with her sons, George & Merrill DuBois camping on the sandbar circa 1913-1915. My great grandfather, John, would rent a small boat from what later became Chases (DeVilles??) and the family of 5 would row/motor across the bay & camp on the sandbar.
